Editing teams, subgroups and deleting
The team page at a glance, editing a team or club, creating subgroups and deleting a team or club.
The team page brings together everything about your squad. From here you edit the team, create subgroups and – if you created it – delete it when needed.
The team page
Open a team in the Teams tab by tapping its card.
- Header: the team’s image and name. Tap the star to make the team a favourite – favourites are listed first.
- ⋮ menu: which entries you see depends on your role, e.g. Edit group, Edit subgroups, Team data, Absences, Documents or Measurements.
- Members: All members opens the member list, Pending shows open join requests. The subgroup chips filter the list.
- Tabs: Events, Polls, Posts and Treasury.
- Floating buttons: the chat button opens the team chat. With + you create – depending on your permissions – an event, post, poll or treasury entry.
Editing a team
Anyone with the Edit group permission can edit the team – by default, the coach.
- Open the team and tap ⋮ → Edit group.
- Change what you need: - Group image - Group information: group name, description and sport - Carpools: a fixed Starting point (e.g. your sports hall). It is used to work out carpool distances automatically. - Season: the Season start for each season. It defines “this season” and “last season” in statistics and the treasury. Seasons without their own value take the previous season’s value.
- Tap Save.
Fields such as jersey number or position aren’t set here but in team data. Treasury settings are in the team treasury.
Editing a club: on the club page, choose ⋮ → Edit club. There you change the club logo, club name and description. In the Club fields section you create fields that apply automatically in all of the club’s teams.
Subgroups
Subgroups split a squad, e.g. by age group or ability level. They help you filter members and events and come in handy when accepting new members.
- Open the team and tap ⋮ → Edit subgroups.
- Tap Create subgroup.
- Enter a Name and, optionally, a description.
- Pick a Color – from the list or as a custom colour.
- Select the Members and save.
To change or delete a subgroup, tap it in the list. Deleting a subgroup can’t be undone.
You can also assign members one by one: members page → ⋮ on the member → Edit → Subgroups section.
By default, supervisors and coaches can manage subgroups.
Deleting a team or club
Only the person who created the team or club can delete it.
- Open ⋮ → Edit group (or Edit club).
- Scroll down to the Danger zone and tap the delete button.
- The app shows what will be deleted – e.g. members, events, posts, polls, chats and invite codes.
- Type the name of the team or club to confirm.
- Tap Delete permanently.
If the team or club has premium through one of your premium slots, the slot is released automatically when you delete it. You can then assign it to another team or club – your subscription simply keeps running. More in Premium for groups and clubs.
In the web dashboard
In the web dashboard, open Manage group (or Manage club) at the bottom of the sidebar. Depending on your permissions you’ll see these tabs:
| Tab | Contents |
|---|---|
| General | Team image, name, description, sport, season start, carpool start |
| Custom fields | Fields for team data |
| Subgroups | Create, edit and delete subgroups |
| Premium | Premium status (view only) |
Changes are saved automatically. The Danger zone for deleting is in the General tab – again only for the creator.
