Reporting pain and injuries

Use the pain report to mark where it hurts on a body map – so you and your coach can keep an eye on any problems.

The pain report lets you record where you have pain and how bad it is. You simply tap the affected areas on a body map.

Filling in a pain report

  1. On the Dashboard, tap the round health button in the bottom right.
  2. The Pain report page opens. Switch between Front and Back at the top.
  3. Tap the part of your body that hurts. Each tap moves on: None → Light → Severe → None.
  4. Mark every affected area this way. Left and right are separate.
  5. If you like, use the Notes field to describe what happened or how the pain feels.
  6. Tap Save. The app confirms with “Report saved”.

The map is finely divided – on the front, for example, shoulder, knee or ankle; on the back, lower back, calf or Achilles tendon.

Good to know

  • One report per day: if you save again on the same day, today’s report is updated. Past days can’t be changed afterwards.
  • Reset: the icon in the top right removes all the markings you’ve just set. A report you’ve already saved isn’t deleted.
  • Not saved? If you leave the page without saving, the app asks: Save, Discard or Cancel.
  • Consent: pain reports are health data. The first time, the app asks for your consent; if you’re under 16 you also need a linked guardian. More in Health data and consent.

Viewing your history

Tap your profile picture in the top right and open the Health tab. There you’ll see your current pain report and, under Pain distribution, how many days you’ve logged pain and which area was affected most often.

Injured for longer?

If an injury keeps you out for a while, also enter an absence with the type Injured. Your events during that period are then declined automatically.

Who can see my pain report?

  • You
  • Coaches and supervisors in your teams with the “View member data” permission
  • Your guardians, if you’re linked to a parent

The coach view is only available in teams or clubs with Premium.

For coaches

  • On a player’s profile, the Health tab shows the current report and the Pain distribution over time.
  • In Premium teams you can get notified when someone submits a pain report. You’ll find the Pain report setting under Settings → Notifications in the Coach section – optionally with Only for severe pain. The notification is sent for the first report of the day, and only if pain is marked.

In the web dashboard, go to Members → player → Health tab to find the Pain map. It shows, for front and back, how often and how badly each area was affected. Click a muscle to see the trend for that spot.
